Our Philosophy
Founded in 1995, Pathways Health Promotion is dedicated to inspiring people to take greater responsibility for their health and well-being through education, skill-building and support, and by teaching them how to make healthy choices every day — choices that will help them get well, live well, and work well.
Our approach to helping people achieve optimal health and well-being is proactive. We teach individuals how to improve their health, prevent unnecessary illness, enhance their well-being, increase their ability to resist and manage stress, and be more productive. And we apply this proactive approach equally, not only to helping people regain their health and well-being when they are ill, but also to helping them maintain and enhance it when they are well.
Why? Because healthy people who manage stress effectively are more productive, more motivated and more satisfied. And because it costs less money to prevent illness than it does to treat it after it has occurred.
Our Mission
Our mission at Pathways Health Promotion is to provide educational, prevention-focused wellness programs and services that are affordable, easy to implement and that improve the health, well-being and quality of life of individuals and employees.
Understanding Wellness
There are eight dimensions of wellness. Each dimension is interrelated with another and is equally vital in the pursuit of optimum health and well-being. The road to achieving optimal health and well-being comes from understanding how to maintain and optimize each of these dimensions of wellness.
- Occupational Wellness
- Emotional Wellness
- Spiritual Wellness
- Environmental Wellness
- Financial Wellness
- Physical Wellness
- Social Wellness
- Intellectual Wellness
